POSEIDON’S LAIR AT QEII AQUATIC CENTRE PRE-EARTHQUAKE CHRISTCHURCH
We installed New Zealand’s first themed AquaPlay™ at the QEII Aquatic Centre in 2009. Our brief from the Christchurch City Council was to increase the capacity and playability of the original Minoan boat. Poseidon’s Lair was a hugely popular attraction at QEII’s ‘Atlantis’ themed leisure zone.
The Minoan Ship replaced by Poseidon’s Lair had limited capacity and playability.
