In 2019, Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa completed a substantial facility upgrade, which includes New Zealand’s first Boomerango™ iconic WhiteWater hydroslide, to compliment the enormously popular Super Bowl we supplied and installed in 2009.
Starting from a 14-metre tower, the 'Conical Thrill' Boomerango™ is a double tube ride, that can be experienced as a single rider or in pairs. It features a steep drop to propel riders up a near-vertical wall for a moment of weightlessness, before zooming back down into the shutdown lane.
